5 Time Boundaries

If only we had more time. I’m sure you would agree that if we did, we would just fill it up with more things to do. Why not make the best use of the time you have now and set time boundaries!

Time Boundaries

Here is a short list on some areas in life that you can set time boundaries on today:

Social Media- Some phones have settings to help you monitor your time spent on social media. You can either set a notification to alert you when your screen time is up. Or you can set a do not disturb or focus setting to somewhat quiet your apps so that you can’t use or get notifications from them at certain times of the day.

Work– When you clock out, clock out! It’s easier said than done but try your hardest to not answer any work emails, text, or calls.

Family– I know it’s easier said than done, especially if your parent or caregiver, your time and energy is needed 24/7. Take some time to step outside and breathe, even if it’s just 10-15 minutes. Or simply just say NO. Balance what’s more important and realize you are only human.

T.V.– Watching t.v. can be so addicting. Especially now, since there are so many streaming services out there. So set a goal for how much time you spend watching it, maybe 2 or 3 hours a day.

Online Videos– I can personally attest to this, that it can be very addicting. I love to watch, cleaning, organization, or DIY videos. If I wasn’t a busy person I probably would watch them all day. So just like when it comes to watching t.v., it’s good to set a specific amount of time on watching online videos. This will help you to be present and allow you to sleep better.

I’m sure there are more areas where you can set time boundaries, so share them with me in the comments. What do you put time limits on?
