Believe it or not, when our workspace is organized we are more organized. Whether you work from home, at a cubicle, or have your own work office, these tips will help you to organize your office desk.
5 Tips To Organize Your Office Desk
Acrylic Bins
These are my favorite, I actually own two of them. A lot of acrylic bins are actually makeup bins but who said you have to use them for that.
You can get them in different sizes and they will be divided into sections. Which is so beneficial because it adds versatility, which allows you to store different things.
Some of my office supplies that I store are pens, pencils, sticky notes, small notebooks, and my keyboard. You can add paper clips, binder clips, and many other smaller office supplies.
And the best thing about them is you are able to see what you have right away since they are clear. No guessing which drawer holds what.
Monitor Stand Riser
Most office desks are not large in width, so it’s best to take advantage of vertical space. So to make some, a monitor stand will lift up your monitor so you can easily use the space underneath of it for extra storage.
You can set your keyboard underneath of it or your mouse. You can even get one that has drawers so you can have easy access to your office supplies or accessories.
Under Desk Drawer Organizers
You can order these online. They can be attached directly to the desk either by screws or some really strong adhesive tape.
I personally love this idea because you get to put your drawer wherever you want, either the left or right, underside of the table. And you get to pick and choose what it looks like since there are a lot of options. No, you won’t be able to store big items, but your smaller items will fit perfectly in there.
Letter Tray
Nothing makes a desk look more junky, than piles of unorganized papers laying on the desk. Letter trays easily solve that problem.
There are lot of letter trays out there that will match the look that you’re going for. There are metal ones, wood ones, ones that have pencil holders attached to it, or drawers attached to it. It’s a perfect solution to get the papers up off the desk using more vertical space.
Leaving you a nice clean space to work on.
Phone Stand
My husband actually has one of these and I’m thinking about getting one for myself. If you’re anything like me, I have to use my phone at the same time I use my tablet for work. Having it up and at an angle is not only functional but it’s aesthetic.
There are magnetic phone stands or your more simple ones that you simply set your phone on it. A plus is that some allow you to be able to charge your phone when needed.
Remember a clean desk helps you to be more productive. I hope that these tips help you to organize your office desk.
